Ratings -D.Y. Patil College of Engineering in Pune is one of the leading engineering colleges. It was established in 1984 and is allied with the SPPU Pune (formerly known as the University of Pune). Initially, the college was established in Pimpri and shifted to Akurdi Complex in 2001. It is near the pimpri Chinchwad industrial area, the biggest industrial belt in Asia. It offers UG & PG programs in engineering and technology. The college has a competent and highly experienced faculty, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and a strong commitment to research and development. The college has produced many successful alumni who have made a mark in their respective fields. NAAC has accredited DYPCE Pune with an "A" Grade.
D.Y. Patil College of Engineering Pune Courses includes B Tech and M Tech in various disciplines. B Tech is available in 9 disciplines. The annual intake varies from 60-120 per branch. M Tech course is available in five engineering branches with an annual intake of 18 seats each. D.Y. Patil College of Engineering Pune Course admission is generally based on an entrance test followed by CAP (Centralized admission process), conducted by DTE Maharashtra.
Students willing to apply for B Tech admission in DY Patil College must have qualified in MHTCET or JEE Main with a good score. While the score should be identical to the D.Y. Patil College of Engineering, Cut off. 80% of seats will be filled through CAP (Counselling) based on merit. And, Remaining, 20% seats are allotted for the D.Y. Patil College of Engineering Management Quota. For management seats, applicants must directly contact the college's admission cell, which is in charge of handling. For CAP Quota/Government Quota, DTE will handle the admission process. Thus, applicants must register for CAP to take part in counseling rounds.
D.Y. Patil College of Engineering Pune Fees Structure differ for CAP Quota and Management Quota. For instance, D.Y. Patil fees for engineering is approx. INR 1.23 Lakhs per annum. While the management quota fees will be higher than the general fees.
