NEET SS Counselling Procedure

NEET SS counselling 2023 - The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the NEET SS 2023 counselling at mcc.nic.in. A link of round-wise NEET SS counselling 2023 will be provided below, after availbility.

MCC conduct the counselling on the basis of NEET SS 2023 scores. NEET SS 2023 counselling will be conducted for admission to 2,447 DM/MCh/DNB super speciality seats. As many as 156 government, private, deemed and Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) institutions participated in NEET SS counselling 2023. Only candidates who secured the NEET SS cutoff, that is 50% marks were eligible for the counselling of NEET SS 2023.

To participate in NEET SS 2023 counselling, students were required to register at the MCC portal by entering personal and NEET SS exam details and paying the required fee and security deposit. After registration for NEET SS counselling 2023, candidates were required to submit their preferences of specialization and colleges, in which they wish to take admission. On the basis of choices filled by candidates, seats available, NEET SS rank, reservation criteria and other factors, NEET SS seat allotment process will be done. To be eligible for NEET SS 2022 counselling, aspirants will have to secure the cutoff and qualify NEET SS entrance test. Step 1: Register for NEET SS counselling 2023

Step 2: Payment of NEET SS counselling registration fee

• After submitting the details, candidates will have to pay the mandatory NEET SS 2023 counselling registration and security deposit fee.

• Pay the registration fee of counselling of NEET SS 2023 through online mode. Check the details of registration fee from the table below. Candidates must note that the NEET SS counselling fee is non-refundable.

• Pay the compulsory security deposit for NEET SS counselling in an online mode through credit/debit card/ net banking. As per MCC, the security deposit is refundable but can be fortified under certain situations. • After payment of fee for counselling of NEET SS 2023, candidates will have to fill their choices for seat allotment processing.

• Enter your choices of course and college for NEET SS 2023 seat allotment

• It must be noted that if a candidates registers for NEET SS 2023 counselling, however, does not fill any choices he/she will not be allotted any seat

• Candidates can fill as many choices during NEET SS counselling

• To add a new choice of course or college click on the ‘+’ button

• After being satisfied with the choices filled, lock the choices.

• In case a candidate forgets to lock the NEET SS counselling 2023 choices filled, they will be locked automatically

After the declaration of the NEET SS 2023 seat allotment list, MCC will release the seat allotment letter for the shortlisted candidates.
